New Registered Herd Sire VWD Iron Blue Boy

New Registered Herd Sire VWD Iron Blue Boy

In the Spring of 2023 Shirley Family Farm welcomed VWD Iron Blue Boy “Blue” pure bred New Zealander Kiko Buck.

He comes to us from the Watson Farm Kikos in Western KY. We are excited to meet his kids in spring of 2024. “Blue” has a prestigious heritage and is already showing, as a yearling, an impressive body structure and a strong resemblance to his Grandsire, “COO Iron Horse.”

Farm Updates – Barn addition

Farm Updates – Barn addition

This year we continue to work to maintain our beautiful family farm. One of this years additions is a Kiko goat profile, designed by our daughter, Emily. We love this addition to our primary goat barn as well as the new door and enclosure. This gives us additional space for our growing herd. This beautiful black barn has been on our farm for many years.
